Frontier Session 14 Report

Session 14: 29-12-2024

The party is standing around the dead General Pok-Tik and have taken one of his soldiers prisoner. They search the bodies and find a magical throwing weapon, an adamantine halberd, strange plate armor made from insect carapace, 2 diamonds worth 300 gold, and gather a large bag of gems worth 500 gold. Kirre magically identifies these items as:

1. Kunai of Fire - a black balanced dagger with cracks and lines of fire running along the blade.
2. Ankheg Plate - plate armor made from the carapace of a Ankheg. It is half the weight and only requires a 13 STR to wear without a speed penalty.
3. Adamantine Halberd - This halberd is made of adamantine, one of the hardest substances in existence. Whenever this weapon hits an object, the hit is a Critical Hit.

Setting off back to the Orc camp they arrive late in the afternoon and are received by the chieftain. They are told some of the Orc tribes will move north and settle close to Brightwater for their shared defence against the Empire. Their ship has been restocked and is ready to leave with a new Orc clan dedicated to 'Gorthak' Jock numbering 20 orcs, 4 goblins and 2 kobolds.

The two kobolds are artificers and on request they magical armor (Suicu), an improved arcane focus (Suicu), a bag of holding and sending stones.[/p  

The sea journey back was relatively smooth and they near the harbor of Brighwater Suicu spots a zeppelin floating above town. They decide to send in Captain Minnie Trethewey with a couple of her crew into town to scout the situation. She takes one of the sending stones with her and reports that the town has been taken by Imperial troops and there's the police force of Mori about as well.

Later they decide to fly the flag of the Merchant company and dock into town. They see a large metal ship docked in front of a new wooden fort erected in the middle of town. The zeppelin looming overhead is gigantic and Suicu saw a Ornithopter undock from it as well.
