Alexandr the Red
An Archmage of the ancient Magocracy of Illium. He was the Archmage of Fire and the youngest ever to join the Council of Archmagi. Sitting on the Throne of Fire during the meetings and representing the elements of the elemental plane of fire.
Part of the Skeptics, he opposed the overthrow of the Gods, arguing for keeping the status quo in fear of breaking of the world. Quickly turning into the leader of the movement and opposed to his childhood friend Maximillian the Blue, Archmage of Water.
Alexandr grew up in a noble family and studied magic from a young age. He was a prodigy rising fast through the ranks at the Academy and getting his Mage degree at the age of thirteen. Further developing his magical talents he became an Archmage at the young age of 20.
He joined the Skeptics faction and became a vocal advocate of the movement. They believe taking the Primal forces away from the Gods will lead to disaster and will give too much power to the Archmages. Soon he became the leader of the faction and represented them on the Council of Archmagi advocating for restraint.
When the Great Engine was conceived he opposed it and its use fearing unforeseen consequences and a powergrab by Maximillian. Eventually he went along with it but demanded compromises and sharing the power with the people.
