Transmission & Vectors
Caused when an object that has been made to rust with a specific alchemical compound is used to harm or lacerate a living person. As it is often transmitted via wounds, it is considered an effect of combat poison rather than a disease.
Symptoms

fever without sinus problems
minor bouts of lockjaw
Difficulty eating or drinking (hurts to swallow)
a feeling of weakness.

Prognosis
A person with extended contact with Tetanus Shock may be more likely to be affected by it in the future. Not enough study has been done on this.
Prevention
Antitoxin ingested prior can prevent the disease from even being an issue. Otherwise dressing the wound with a healing kit and a successful medicine check can prevent the disease from flaring up.
History
Used during the Kaldos Rebellion, a favored weapon of skirmishers on the United Mercernary Guild’s front. Many treated knives or arrows with the compound to weaken soldiers then would strike later as the effects set in.
