Oberon

Prince Oberon, the ruler of the Summer Court, embodies the raw, vibrant energy of the season he governs. Standing tall and imposing, Oberon is a striking figure with sun-kissed skin that seems to radiate warmth, and eyes that shimmer with a golden hue, reminiscent of the noonday sun. His hair is a wild mane of green appearing almost as a wild growth of grass. He wears a crown of woven vines and summer flowers that never seem to wilt, even under the intense heat of the Summerlands.   Oberon’s presence is both commanding and charismatic, drawing others to him with an easy, almost magnetic charm. His attire is a regal but primal blend of nature and grandeur, with a mantle of leaves and flowers that rustles as if alive, and a chest plate forged from a strange metal that gleams like the hottest days of summer. He wields a spear crafted from the heart of an ancient oak and tipped with a shard of solidified sunlight, a weapon that seems capable of striking with both ferocity and precision.   Despite his immense power, Oberon often defers to his wife, Queen Titania of the Spring Court. Though the Summer and Spring Courts are officially equal in status, co-ruling the lesser courts beneath them that form the Seelie Court, there is an unspoken understanding among the Seelie Courts that Oberon respects Titania’s wisdom and prefers to rule alongside her as a consort. He is a passionate leader but does not seek absolute authority, content to let Titania’s influence guide their shared domain. When Oberon does act independently, he is a protector of the Summerlands, fiercely loyal to his subjects and merciless toward any who would threaten the Seelie Courts.   Under Oberon’s rule, the Summer Court flourishes with boundless vitality and wild beauty, home to a myriad of lesser courts that celebrate the intensity and abundance of the season. These courts range from the Court of Embers to the Court of Blossoms, all paying homage to the life-giving power that Oberon wields. However, it is his balance with Titania that truly defines his reign, a partnership that echoes through every corner of the Seelie Courts.
