Oath of the Falling Leaf

I pledge to walk in silence and shadow,
to listen before I speak,
and to let my words be as the rustling leaves—
soft when needed,
sharp when required.

I will bear the whispers of the unseen,
honoring secrets as both shield and blade.

No truth shall pass my lips unguarded,
and no untruth shall be told without purpose.

As the autumn wind carries the last words of summer,
so shall I carry the will of the Court of Leaves and Whispers.

This I vow,
until the final leaf falls and my duty is fulfilled.
