Northlander human father of Aisling Hawthorne. Echan used to be a sailor (and part-time raider) before finally settling down and marrying Sorsha Hawthorne. The pair of them began to purchase ruined or run down houses and upgrading them before reselling, making a fair bit of coin in the process. They began to rennovate a ruin in Caer Craftenor that had an old cult in it, was struck by lightning, and believed to be haunted. However, the land and property was rennovated to nicely that the pair decided to stay in it.
He has two half-elven daughters with Sorsha, Aisling and Briane Hawthorne. While friendly and gregarious, he is very protective of his daughters and can become challenging if tested. He purchased Aisling an innordinate amount of supplies and adventuring equipment when she visited home, and he even pre-paid Porter Gallagher to be a porter for a month.
