Moongy's First Realm
This is a realm of sword, sorcery, and myth. The monsters in the dark forests or under your bed are quite real. Castle walls and brave guardsmen keep out the fearsome creatures in both the heartland and far flung places.
The current age is not the first. The ruins of grand, ancient empires lie scattered about. Their builders long gone. But their wealth, and pieces of magic, long dormant, remain to be found in dark places. These dark places often have dangerous residents.
The dukes, kings, and merchants of the current era are rebuilding the connections that once bound together the intelligent races. When they can contain their petty squabbles, that is. But pushing back the frontiers is awakening old powers best left undisturbed. Some dark corners do not want a light shone upon them.
In all the current and coming tumult there will be a need for actions both great and terrible, full of jest and full of grave import. Will you be a swashbuckling champion of the common people against local tyranny? Will you take the dangerous and potentially lucrative path of the tomb-raiding adventurer? Is your goal to create the best tavern and inn known for serving exotic beasts like cockatrice and dragon? The realm is but a stage. You are both the playwright and actors.
It is to you that falls the task of performing for the gods!

Here's some clarity in case my fancy prose above left things unclear. What is Moongy's First Realm? A classically styled fantasy world descended from various eras of fantasy TTRPG.
Not epic high fantasy. Not a grim-dark bloodpath. --> We live at the intersection of comedy and "we're all gonna die"
Not old or new, but middleshool. --> The current gameplay skews a bit more oldschool location based than the current trend towards heavy narrative focus. The goal is to maximize player agency in groups that enjoy both tactical combat and randomly spending 2 hours interfacing with a random merchant caravan.
It's been fun so far.
