The Principality of Hevelland
Hevelland was not always Lhünish, having been conquered and annexed from Mittenbergh during the War of the Pine Cones 400 years ago. As such, when the Empire brought Lhünen to heel a century previously, Mittenbergh had high hopes to regain this territory. While privately the Crown was sympathetic to Mittenbergh’s suit, expediency dictated that Hevelland remained Lhünish, at least for the time being.
Hevelland, like Mittenbergh, is a breadbasket; but the wines produced on its hillsides along the Lhünen River are much sought-after.
