Brenthen is a remote and mostly ignored duchy. Ostensibly also responsible for defending the Empire against the Orkhr, the reality is that no Orkhr incursion has occurred in Brenthen in centuries.
More pressing to Brenthen is the fact that the great northern forest has come to be crawling with all manner of monstrous horrors, news of which fails to gain the attention of the Emperor’s ear.
Brenthen had produced timber and wines, but exports from this province have dropped precipitously in recent years, forcing the Empire to source its goods elsewhere.
