Monarch's Day
Name in Hyrulean: Kaio t-Anoi
History
Monarch's Day was established in 115 MH during the reign of Queen Zelda III.
Observance
Monarch's Day is held partway through the rising year, a time we'd recognize as mid-spring. A parade is arranged in Hyrule Castle City and televised, pulling massive viewership, and most communities will put on town fairs. This is one of the few times in a year you will actually see Hyruleans fly the national pennant. In the evening, the reigning monarch will make an address on the state of the nation, broadcast on both radio and television, and after this point, many people will hold parties later into the evening with friends and family.
