Session 13: You can't make an omelette without breaking a few eggs. Report

Starting off the session the party decided to take the treasure chest with them triggering an acid trap which burned their clothing and lungs.
The party then decided to go and take a long rest in the mostly empty storage room. Most of the rest went uneventful, but during the third watch by Mitzu a pair of Troglodytes snuck up on the party and attacked. The first attack took out Mitzu and woke up the others.
After taking out the troglodytes and finishing the rest of their rest they decided to smash open the chest finding a gold and sapphire ring and and a string of pearls which Nivek recognized as belonging to people he knows from Greenest and six precious stones.
Tanaelia tucked them away in an attempt to keep them from the rest of the party and return them to the villagers.
They headed back into the room with the dragon eggs and snuck in. They noticed the Drakes and headed towards them.
Tanaelia tried to calm the Guard Drake by tempting it with some rations, but it didn't seem to like the food.
A fight ensued with a roper revealing itself and grabbing Rahl with it's tendrils and pulling him to it and biting him causing massive damage.
Everyone was grabbed by the roper at one point or another and some hidden kobolds reveled themselves throwing some makeshift fire and glue bombs, harassing the party. It was a tough battle, but they managed to eliminate the roper, the guard drakes and the kobolds.
After the danger was passed Rahl went directly towards one of the eggs to smash it, but before he could Tanaelia cast Command on him to Halt.
They had a discussion on whether they should destroy the eggs as Rahl insisted that they were evil and there was no redeeming a chromatic dragon, while Tanaelia disagreed insisting that it was wrong to kill them just because they were a different species. Mitzu also mentioned that as a Yuan-ti, his kind are also usually seen as evil.
Rahl gave in saying to do whatever they want, but to remember if anything happens that he already warned them.
The group spent some time trying to determine what to do with the eggs. They were large at about three feet tall and 150 lbs each. While looking around the cavern, Nivek noticed a third egg somewhat camouflaged among some similar colored rocks.
We ended the session there giving the group time to think about what they want to do with the eggs before next session and also give the other players who where not present a chance to give their input next session.
