List of Laus Rulers
Rulers of the Laus
Overview
The Laus have a long history of dynastic rule, going back to their founding by the legendary King Adinon over two thousand years ago. Over the course of this history Four Great Dynasties have distinguished themselves as the most venerable and influential, each defining a major era in Laus history. These include the Adinid, Sêmárid, Láikadin, and Midan dynasties. There are also a number of minor realms that arose during the interregnums of these dynasties, which often played integral roles in the ascent of the next. The following lists record the rulers of both the Four Great Dynasties and some of the minor realms, in addition to outlining the cultural norms and traditions with regard to dynastic legitimacy.Legitimacy

Adinid Dynasty [849-298 AVK]
First of the Four Great Dynasties, the Adinids have their origins in the very founding myths of the Laus people. It was established by Kaigos Adinon, son of Eradrin the last of the ancient Sirii Patriarchs. He led his followers west out of Anosfae to settle the Laus homeland after receiving a divine vision from Siris, or so the story goes. After more than a decade spent carving out a realm for his burgeoning people, Adinon founded a great city in his name, Adinasis. This city which would serve as the royal seat of his descendents for over five centuries, and would endure long past their memory. This dynasty is considered to be semi-legendary, with limited sources of uncertain accuracy and extensive embellishment, but is included in most chronicles and traditional genealogies.I.
