Solarias Kiss

It's said that when the world was still young and had yet to see its first sunrise, the sky was still cloaked in a gloom like no other, neither truly dark nor truly light. Solaria was moved by those mortals trying to scratch a living out on this giant ball of dirt, she descended to the earth, shining with her radiant form. Still, the land was not able to hold her godly shape, so she poured a portion of her divine light into a goblet and held it under a spring, resulting in a radiant holden liquid that the mortals who witnesed this believed to contain her laughter, warmth and that special feeling of watching a sunrise.   Today, the drink is generally used by temples that worship Solaria and are popular during the Solstice Festival and marriage ceremonies. There is a mead, popular among the coastdwellers that shares the name and have since become popular in taverns and similar establishments.
"A touch of Solarias Kiss and truth will pour from your lips"
- Old saying for when someone confesses something under the influence of too much wine.
in the Empire of Dercia where symbolism, rituals and divine favour re part of the public and private life, Solaria's Kiss play a central role in those ceremonies that are held during the daylight hours. as said, its typically precent during mariage ceremonies for followers of Solaria where its used to anoint the foreheads of the bride with a drop of the liquid, forming a sun-symbol, the act is said to bestow a small amount of Solarias blessing on the bride.
