Selene
Born to the parents of Marcus Arvina Messala and Silvia, the owner of a tavern along the Sanga road.
Despite being only 9 years old, Selene has become an integral part of her mother's tavern, helping in the kitchen when she can, doing some light cleaning, but most importantly, Selene is the centre of attention for most of the visitors to the tavern. When she is not helping in the tavern, she likes to run around in the nearby forest, often coming home late in the evening, covered in mud, leaves and a few sticks sticking out of her bushy hair.
Her parents met when Marcus Arvina Messala and his group of officers were taking shelter in the tavern from a particularly powerful storm, and were forced to stay for some days as they waited for the road ahead to dry up enough for them to ride again. Marcus found that Silva was a good conversationalist, and they enjoyed each other's company, but after the road had dried up enough for Marcus and his party to leave, they said their goodbye, and Silvia didn't think more off it until she found out she was expecting Selene.
Due to Selene being a blend between a Crienia father and a Vel'shana mother, she has markings along her skin that help the Vel'shana hide in their forested homes; likewise, she has also inherited the bushy hair from her mother. At the same time, Selenes eye and hair colours are all some she has inherited from her father, and Silvia likes to joke that she also has inherited his ability to always find something to snack on.
