Pacator
In a small secluded bay lies the town Pacator, The town is shadowed by the vulcano Paetus, known to be activ with regular intervals.
According to local legends, the town have always been there and there are signs around the area that the area for a long time have been home to a settlement, its likely that the city have changed names several times over the years as it was conqoured by different nations or as regularly happend, the volcano erupted and forced the inhabitants to rebuild the time after the area settled down again.
Around the year 573 I.C the town was approced by two legions from Pearlhal and after a quick negotiation, believed to have been sped up by the presence of more than 10.000 soldiers just outside the town gate, the town surrendered to Pearlhal and shortly after became home to a small garrison of around 500 soldiers. Pacator and Pearlhal got along well for the most part, there was a small incident some 50 years after the surrender were the town failed to pay its taxes for two years but as it had regualy paid them up to that point and the region had been suffering from first drougts then only to recrieve more rain the following year than they normally did in three. The rain caused mudslides and ended up washing half the town into the bay, to this day ships coming into the bay still have to be careful navigating the inner bay. Pacator requested aid from Pearlhal and recrieved two engineer corps detatchmens from the legions stationed in nearby regions to help rebuild.
Following the rebuilding, the town prospered for decades until the Volcano began showing signs that it was going to erupt, most of the population managed to get away, either by ship or simply by running into the country side, less than 200 lost their lives during the eruption and most of these were either people who refused to leave their homes or looters who tried getting rich by the empty town.
This time the town didnt request aid from the capital, or if it did the documents have been lost, likely a casulty of the Great fire of Pealhal or Siege of Pearlhal were large parts of Pearlhal burned to the ground. Surviving records show that a town in the same place a decade later began paying its taxes again, indicating that the town had been rebuild or the area resettled.
