Occia´s Runs
Occia´s Runs is a diarrhoea-like condition named after a very unlucky noble who is said to have suffered from the runs for days after feasting on river clams that turned out to be spoiled.
While its most common name is named after a noble, its a condition that everyone, from the common people all the way up to the emperor, can suffer from, most of the times its not deadly for other than for ones dignity if it hits at a bad time like when General Cassivar had eaten a stew made from meat that had gone slightly bad and the following day when the camp had been mostly packed down and the general had already set of with the vanguard of the army, from the soldiers around him, its said that he was mid giving a motivational speach to the men around him when he suddenly got pale, clutched his stomach and wished that he had stayed with the rest of the army were the latrin had yet to be dismantled. Soldiers say that he rode into the nearby woods with his dignity slipping away with every squelch. The general didnt return until evening, wrapped in his cape, hollow-eyed and possible ten kilos lighter.
To this day, when ever anyone get the runs and is rushing for the nearby latrin or tree, the soldiers call it "The retreat of Cassivar"
During Cassivars time, his legion even sewed a small champer pot onto their legions standard, a tradition that lasted until queen Ramona told them to take it off.

Treatment
While the condition is fairly widespread, each region or even each village has their way to treat it.
The most common treatment is done with boiled marshmint tea, served cold; serving it warm is believed to make it worse. in more arigicultural regions, they trat with salted barley broth, which helps restore fluids and balance.
In more rural regions, one can find a treatment that consists of burnt bread crust that is then soaked in vinegar. It's said to taste awful, but it's effective.
