Mushroom town

The mushroom town is located in the northern part of the Empire of Dercia deep in the forests of the area in an area where humans and elves don't often come and only passing through the forest with the purpose of hunting or foraging.   The town is inhabited by Faries , who have lived in the forest since the first tree began growing in the area. The faires have, over time, become the guardians of the forest and will protect it against overuse, the leader of the fairies have made treaties with the surrounding human settlements that they are allowed to hunt the wildlife in the forest as long as they don't hunt during certain months of the year, typically the months were the new generation of wildlife is born. The human settlements, for the majority, obey the treaty.     The village the fairies live in is also quite unique, as its made of giant mushrooms that can grow several meters high and wide, big enough for the fairies to carve houses out from the inside and make rope bridges between the different mushrooms
