Kiren Lyssarin

Kiren Lyssarin is a resourceful, independent Half-Felari and fiercely proud of their mixed heritage.   Kiren has inherited supreme instincts from her Felari father, these grant her a heightened awareness and excellent skills for climbing and acrobatics which she has taken to use to earn her a living in Pearlhal.    She can best be described as graceful and agile frame inherited from her Felari half, she has inherited the ability to raise the hair on her head, likewise, her ears are slightly more pointed than normal humans, almost similar to Half-elf ears had it not been for them being tufted at the tips, giving her a more feline-like appearance, making her stand out even in a diverse city such as Pearlhal.   Despite not lacking in charisma, she sometimes struggles with the feeling of not fitting in the city. Still, despite her moments of feeling down, she is proud of who she is. With her quick wits and clever brain, Kiren make use of humour to disarm any tension she might find herself in often making use of her love for riddles which she also weaves into her performance on the streets to engage with the publicum more.   Her daily life is split between making jewellery that is inspired by her Felari root, working teeth from dangerous animals into them or feathers from exotic birds that she picks up from the markets of the city. The other half of her daily life is performing acrobatics in the streets and markets. During evenings and nights, she often gathers with other artists in taverns around the city.  

Family

Kiren's mother, Alayna, runs a bakery in the city, sometimes on slow days or if her mother just needs that extra hand, Kiren will help her, often standing in the front of the bakery, talking with customers. Her father, Toravrin, is a trader who visits every time his trading route takes him back to the city, and he always brings Kiren and her mother a gift from the places he has visited and entertains them with tales about the places, like the tales of the Black Warden or the silver-while haired woman living in Nicia.  

Friends

A close friend of Kiren is Lira Dalmere, they both grew up in the same neighbourhood and sometimes Kiren performs her acrobatics in the tavern, diving from the roof down and picking up beers and the like.  

Notable Quirks

Due to the inherited instincts from her Felari father, she sometimes react to sounds or movements in a way that can draw amused attention, like turning her head sharply towards the noise.
