Jacintha bush

A small bush-like plant that grows in most meadows and can grow to be around 1-1.5 meters high and nearly twice as wide. The leaves on the bush are elongated and have a deep green colour on the top side with a silvery colour underneath. The flowers of the bush are white with between six and eight petals; they will typically bud in the leaf axils and can be solitary or have clusters of three.   The plant can be cultivated, but is mainly done so in the more tropical and subtropical climates of Mirateia in areas where plenty of rain falls in a year; some areas outside these regions are known to try and cultivate the plant and its believed that the roots of the plant, the main resource of the bush, grow more slowly in the climates outside its natural habitat, and that these roots acquire more flavour and their effect in potions become more intense. While the root of the bush is the most sought-after resource, the leaves can be, after they have been ground into a paste, used in a paste that can be applied to fresh wounds and is believed to help keep the wound infection-free and make it heal faster.   Roots of the bush have been used for so long that entire legends have been forgotten and replaced by new ones. Roots from the bush are one of the most valuable items a smuggler can smuggle, for people like Rilena Thariss smuggling of the root can, in some months, make up to 15% of the incoming revenue. its expensive to smuggle the root as it hard to disguse the root from what it really is so smugglers like Rilena have to take extra steps to make sure that their products reach their intended distinations.

Bush! <3 I like that both the leaves and roots have uses, though the roots are more desirable.
