Intheri

For the most part, during the First unification war civilians were displaced from their homes by armies, and some of these people later became known as the Intheri.   Due to the unstable times they lived in, the people moved around, trying to stay ahead of the armies. This nomadic lifestyle resulted in the people adopting traditions of changing their names and styles depending on where they currently lived or the seasons. They despite their nomadic lifestyle, they still share a lot of similarites with the people they originally split from, the Tha´ri, their clothes, while they have developed a unique style since the split they still make use of the same colours and colour symbolic. The area were there have been the biggest split are in the language, the Intheri having picked up so many loan words and dialects over the centuries that only a very few words are still understandable between the two branches of the people.   The Intheri are split into several clans that work like guild-like collectives. They work together to craft unique goods to sell at the local markets. Their performances are well known, although they tend to be viewed as a bit too experimental by most, but are valued for their entertainment. Among the people currently living in the Empire of Dercia, they are one of the few who do not have a system of trading in coins and generally make use of the barter system.   The few clans of the Intheri that decides to settle an area permaently, generally chooses coastal areas as it reminds them of their origins and in cities, such as Pearlhal they can be found in the outer districts, among the spice traders, and other craftmans people.   Some of the clans make heavy use of tattoos, weaving intrigue patterns on their skin.

I like how they still have some resemblance to the culture they came from, but are different in a lot of ways.
