The city of Emitlestar is located on the coast of the Empire of Dercia, It was originally a native settlement before the Crienia reached the area and it became a colony for the Crienia. When the Criena came, the city was already known in the local area for its large natural harbour and the merchants in the city had trade routes with mange of the other ports along the coast and the islands off the coast, such as Elval island Sometime after it became part of the larger Empire, it became a major centre for Crienic naval power and trade, To this day it is home to a squadron of warships. Due to the large amount of trade going in and out of the city, the city is also home to a significant amount of smuggling and crime with the gang lead by The harbour master being the largest and most powerful.

The population of Emitlestar consists of nearly all races and people from all over the Empire, humans such as Crienia, Odravians, these people make up roughly 65% of the population, Vel'shana who normally work in the harbour districts make up another 12%. Members of the Shal'Vara control the spice markets of the city and are likewise valued for the textiles that the nomadic people bring to the market every summer, The Shal’Vara makes up roughly 10% of the population.

Climate

Emitlestar experiences a Mediterranean-like climate. Summers are hot and dry with abundant sunshine. Summer heat indexes can be regularly over 30 °C and occasionally as high as 37 °C during Solara and Lunaria. Winters are mild with moderate rainfall. Emitlestar and the mostly topographically flat Aris plains that stretch out behind the city are subject to light winds most of the year.
