The Moons - Zell & Aros
Miramai is orbited by two moons along its equator. The closer of the two, Aros, circles the planet once per year. Zell travels in the opposite direction on the same path. It nearly makes a full orbit every month, making it about 90% the way around. This leads the two moons to eclipse one another at fixed points over Miramai. These points are marked on the surface by massive Towers that rise into the sky and deep below the surface.
On the day of the Lunar Eclipses, the Tower they cross over glows with energy. Dust in the region floods with power. Most regions hold large celebrations on these days, and the area around the tower tends to have the largest influx of visitors on these days. Many enchanters take advantage of this day as it's the easiest day to infuse Particulum with power. The influx of power can be felt all the way to the next Tower. The only exceptions to this are when the Prime and Negative towers have their Lunar Eclipses. The Prime tower, located at the heart of Olivaan, produces so much excess power that it can be felt across all of Miramai. Even in Orix, on the opposite side of Miramai, can they feel the flow of power surging through the planet. The Negative tower located at the heart of Nado'viir's uninhabitable island center serves as the Balance to the Prime Tower. On the Lunar Eclipse over this tower, the world feels the whisper of Magic held in the Dust Vessels they carry... go quiet. There is no Ambient Dust across Miramai on this day. It settles and silences. Dust Vessels have some amount of protection from this sapping of power, however the moment a user attempts to manipulate the Dust within their Vessel, it rapidly decays in power.
Beyond the ebb and flow of magic that Zell & Aros seem to control, the seasons also seem to follow Aros. When the moon reaches the Eclipse, it marks the peak of Summer. Fall sets in as it moves away, Winter's mid point is marked 5 months later when the Eclipse occurs on the opposite side of Miramai. Finally Spring comes as Aros makes its way back.
