Strawman - Fragment of the Harvest
Myths about a scarecrow that towers over others can some times be heard in places where farms are prospering. Legend of the Strawman have passed around Miramai over centuries.
Common threads between the stories tell of a terrifying entity with a penchant for pranks. Farmers who lose their crop, primarily from negligence or intentional harm from others, will raise scarecrows in their fields to save what remains of their crop. Some will find their crop grow back and then some. Locals will mention that one of the scarecrows feel more nefarious.
Conflicting stories will tell that Strawman is a menacing monster who tortures and consumes people. While others from the same villages will say children and teenagers who once caused problems became quiet upstanding citizens after the Strawman visited.
Unknown if related, but the frequency of pranks goes up in regions where Strawman sightings are reported.
