Divine Parent
One of the eight Elven gods who is responsible for a person's Elemental Attunement.
Divine Domains
Each Elf is attuned to a subset of the Elements. This grants them powers beyond the mundane world, by directly perceiving and often also controlling the Elemental Currents that shape it.
Each of the Eight governs one of these Elements, and bestows the related gift upon a person that catches their interest. Typically, an Elf has a strong attunement to one Element on the Primary Tier and a weaker one to an Element on the Secondary Tier. This means that they will have two Divine Parents.
Divine Symbols & Sigils
The Eight carry the same names as their Element, with the word "Mother" or "Father" added to it. They are associated with the Element's symbol and color, as well as certain immaterial aspects, such as character traits or activities.
