Summer Camp Prep Pledge Submission

Week 1

Assignment #1 Consider what kind of changes would fit in with your world's themes, genre, and other foundational points.

I considered a sudden(or gradual?) decrease in the presence of gods in Mir. This can have several consequences, the most obvious being the paladins losing their powers. Since paladins play the primary role of ensuring safety, especially in small settlements and colonies, a decrease in their power may lead to power vacuums in many places, resulting in the collapse of small settlements and colonies. Gods play practical roles in the lives of common folk. For this reason, their disappearance would negatively affect nearly every aspect of life. To be able to write a brief answer, I will conclude this part.

Assignment #2 Based on this, decide how many prompts you'll go for during Summer Camp. Then, download the pledge document and fill it accordingly!

I plan to do each and every 32 prompts to gain the diamond badge.

Assignment #3 Get your categories and tags organized!

The categories I've decided on are as follows:

• Celestial concord
• Political structures
• Factions
• Travel and transportation
• Wilderness
• Mythos
• Economy
• Outgame documents

Assignment #4 Take a look at your meta, primer, and any other high-level document and update it according to the current state of your world.

Even though I decided to write a setting from scratch last night, I've completed writing the World Meta. Moreover, I've rewritten some parts of it just before this pledge, and I'm planning to refine it further before starting to flesh out my world with other settlements and the overarching history of it.  

Week 2

 

Assignment 1 Consider what kinds of refuge would fit in with your world's themes, genre, and other foundational points.

Ignorance and oppression are some of the main themes of my world, so I plan to add a place well out of reach of the oppressors, maybe a city of the free man where all kinds of people gather to live without the many prohibitions of the Celestial Concord.  

Assignment 2 Find a community—whether that’s our Discord server, Facebook Group, your RPG or friend group, or something else.

As a writers' community, I choose the long-lasting RPG group of mine, where I plan to share my works there regularly and hopefully push a few of them to take the summer camp challenge as well.

Assignment 3 Find ways to improve styling and layout in your world!

I've already started to explore what the markdown language offers. Maybe I can also use a few more images to emphasize the segmentation of my writing.

Assignment 4 If you’re a CSS wizard, maybe take the time now to give it a polish!

Well I'm not a wizard plus not a guild member too. However, if I stick to this challenge long enough I will probably work on this as I'm familiar with coding.
