Qi'faren Elesh is an Elven wizard and owner of The Plane Walker Magic Shop in Castleport. He is constantly seeking knowledge and understanding of forgotten events and techniques in an effort to stroke his own ego.

Qi'faren was educated at the Stralose Academy of Wizardry in Embermire. There he excelled in transmutation and alchemical studies.
Employment
Upon completion of his studies in Embermire, Qi'faren entered the Royal Mages Corps where he served with distinction for nearly 50 years. In 1372, after an extended stint wandering the countryside, Qi'faren arrived with a considerable sum of money in the port town of Castleport where he opened up a magic shop, the Plane Walker.

Qi'faren seeks knowledge and to stroke his own ego. Wealth means little to him, as he inherited much of his wealth from his family and other patronage. But instead he seeks to accumulate knowledge and abilities which nobody else has and then to use that to wield over others.
