Larento Woods
The Larento Woods is a small forested region on the northern border of County Castleport and the southwestern border of County Navania. It is home to the village of Silentdale and the Silentdale mine.

Timber and Forest Products
Many of residents of the forest, primarily in Silentdale, harvest the woods for its old growth hardwoods such as oak and pine. These abundant trees provide superior quality timber highly valued for ship construction that they send to Castleport and other nearby coastal cities.
The sap and other resins from these trees are typically collected for waterproofing, varnish, and even as a basic component in certain low-grade alchemical concoctions for those that are more magically inclined.
Likewise, the tannins taken from the bark of specific trees is essential for the leatherworking industries of both Castleport and Navania.
Mineral Resources
The miners of Silentdale rely on it as a source of iron and copper. Recently, the Garrick Family of Foglemire has discovered a deposit of ferroflux, which is known for its ability to conduct arcane energies and as a power source for gnomish clockwork mechanisms.
