Death and Recovery

Dying can suck, but re-rolling a new character can suck more. Fortunately, D&D allows for characters to return from the clutches of Death. However, to add a touch of tension and motivation to not die, we will be playing with consequences for reaching that 0 hp mark...   Once your character has stabilized from death (either through a resurrection, a successful set of death saves, or healing), there may be... lingering... side effects from your brush with the other side. Roll a 1d10 to determine what your condition is:
Roll Effect
1 You lose an eye. Any skill check or ability requiring the use of sight is at a disadvantage.
2 You lose part of your left arm. Strength saves and Strenght-based ability checks are done with a disadvantage. You are no longer able to use weapons with 2 hands (roll Disadvantage for using a 2-handed weapon with 1-hand) or a weapon/shield combo.
3 Being at the precipice of the afterlife has driven you slightly mad. Intelligence ability checks and saves are made with disadvantage.
4 You take a crippling injury to your right leg. Your speed is reduced by 10 feet.
5 You sustain massive hemmoraging to your internal organs that you never fully recover from. You permanently lose 1 hit die roll worth of hp.
6 While in the afterlife you encountered a being of tremendous power. You agreed that for another chance at life, you would submit yourself to disadvantage on Constitution saves.
7 You may have returned physically, but a part of your soul remained behind. You find it difficult to concentrate or pay attention. You now have Disadvantage on Wisdom saves and Wisdom-based abilitiy checks.
8 You recover, but find yourself with a lackadaisical attitude towards most things. You now suffer Disadvantage on Dexterity saves and Dexterity-based ability checks.
9 You find that you've become quick to temper since coming back from the dead. You have Disadvantage on Charisma saves and Charisma-based checks.
10 You gain a vulnerability to the type of damage that killed you (reduced hp to 0).
