History
Baylight was founded by a group of fishermen in 1057 who followed the schools of tuna through Attleboro Bay to this area. They soon realized that a tuna spawning ground was nearby and eventually they set up a small fishing outpost. As the outpost grew, it attracted various support businesses. Over the years, the village continued to grow until it was incorporated into the larger County of Castleport.
