Birth of Novus

The embodiment of the Overworld, Novus, would be born and judge humanity, deeming it to be worthy of existence.

The birth of Novus is a prophesized event which signals the possible end of the world. Knowing this, Steve the Patron foresaw a hero that would stand against the cult who sought to control Novus. This hero would be Matthew, and he would be opposed by the god of war, Venge, who had plans to corrupt Novus and have it deem humanity as a failure. Venge would manipulate the cult to obtain the Command Block and use its power to manifest Novus into existence. As the entity reveled in its new state of existential consciousness, it would fight against the hero as Matthew showed the newly-born entity the light and purity within his heart. Upon its defeat, Novus would deem Matthew and humanity as worthy of existing, and disappear.
