Session 12: The Doom Croaker Report

Into Realmspace and Beyond

Mirtul 23rd, 1492

During the first few days in space, Azid was feeling crafty. He created some gauntlets for Geasle to increase his strength.

Mirtul 26th, 1492

Pirates attacked The Hard Nut. They started strong with ranged attacks, but when they got too close, the Rat Pack boarded them! The party made short work of the pirates, and the first mate, Grugg, surrendered. He gave up their treasure and promised not to pursue them.

Ysgard

Kythorn 26th, 1492

The Rat Pack arrived on the Plane of Ysgard. They landed on the branches of Yggdrasil and began their search for the lindwurm and the diamond that it guarded. Unfortunately, what they did find were giant spiders that very nearly killed them all. The party was forced to march back to the Hard Nut and rest.

Kythorn 27th, 1492

On the second day of their search, the party was more determined than before to find the lindwurm. As they maneuvered the branches of Yggdrasil, they spotted two webbed mounds. Glebnor went to check on the mounds when a group of ettercaps attacked! This time, the party came ready to battle and did short work on the spider monstrosities. After the battle, they checked on the mounds and found gnomish siblings Eddinna and Frillo Sweetsop. The two were ever grateful and said that they were just on their way to a party on their home planet of Epsilo went they stepped into the wrong portal and ended up surrounded by spiders. The group offered to help the kindly gnomes and escorted them back to the Hard Nut to wait with the rest of the party and Quranis.   Returning to where they left off, the party moved further and found an icy, rotting branch with the lindwurm snapping at something in a hole. Azid enlarged one of his skeleton minions to push the creature off the branch. With a supernatural knowing, the lindwurm snapped its head around and charged towards the skeleton.
