What have we learned

So what have I learned from taking a closer look at these articles? Well for starters, almost all of these places have an extensive history. Not just a single lengthy conflict, but changes into their situation that also changed who was doing stuff and how things looked. And that is important, isn't it? Where we came from? Both for worldbuilding, and for ourselves.   When I first came to WorldAnvil, I wanted to write down some stuff I had lying around for ages. But only 1 of those settings made it onto WorldAnvil, and I haven't worked on it in a while. I jump from project to project, idea to idea, never sticking to forming a proper habit. So that is a history and a conflict I need to learn from.

So what's next?

I can go for a simple resolution, but those never seem to stick. What I need to do, is form habits. Not just for WorldAnvil, but also all the other creative stuff I'm up to. So I decided to write down a monthly checklist, try to take time out to do certain things. Less doomscrolling, more notification-scrolling to wipe out some of those. Success so far, I'm below a thousand to go.   Shoot things with nerfguns, and practice with a larpbow once I buy it. I want to become a better writer, so I should write more and dare publish it. Even promote it to people. Work on Shadowrun, so I don't forget and procrastinate. Get things done every month, and try to form those habits. Let's see next year if it worked out.
