Leopold Dennis Vespasian
"I may be in quite a predicament, but that does not mean I am an idiot.
Leopold Dennis Vespasian — who mainly goes by Leopold in short — is quite an inconspicuous individual but simultaneously perhaps one of the most noticeable ones in all of Alézun'Teran. And it all depends on if you know who — or rather what — he is. Having arrived from the Daktorie Wellspring some forty years ago, Leopold would usually be classified as a Well-Arrived Individual but due to the circumstances around him, people are a bit hesitant to do so. While he feels great insult towards, some have gone to call him a Well--Arrived Object instead. And despite being told numerous times why, he will always try to correct people by saying that he is completely normal. Despite being a telepathic potted floral plant.
Arrival
Leopold arrived one rather cold night and calm some 40 years ago, screaming so loud that he woke up every resident in the Screaming Cliffside Inn. It took a rather long while until the Daktorie realized that the one who was telepathically crying out of pain in their minds, was the potted plant that was laying on its side beside the Wellspring, its leaves and petals singed by fire and the brown bot cracked and covered in frost.
After a while, they managed to calm him down and — unsure of what really do against the damage — took the crying plant to the Cericor Hospital, where the doctors — after perplexed shock and confusion — called upon a master florist who got a similar reaction. After some additional time, it was simply decided to just give Leopold some new floral soil and water and place him under a uv lamp. Over the course of a few days, his cracked pot and singed leaves and petals healed. It was then decided that it was best for him to be placed in the care of the Daktorie, which he was very enthusiastic about being part of.
Description
Real appearance
Leopold is a purple-white rose flower with around ten petals and two leaves, with a fair abundance of grass growing around him. He is placed in a brown bot that showcases a few cracks in it, which can be likened to scars in a sense. His fine soil is dark brown and cold to the touch.
In regards to the pot, it is quite durable; capable of withstanding forces that would utterly destroy a normal pot.
Leopolds assumed appearance
If one were to ask Leopold how he sees himself, it will be quite different from the real thing. He will describe himself as a tall human male with short black hair and dark blue eyes with a hint of a copper shade. He has a toned muscular body and tanned skin. It is not certain whether he truly believe this, or if he is just messing with people.
Personality
Leopold is quite a talkative plant, at least towards people he knows and considers his friends. He is also quite humble in their presence and will sometimes try to lighten the mood with jokes.
Around strangers and those he dislike, he will usually be as quiet as a mouse, or a normal flower, and when do to talk in their presence he will usually showcase a slight prideful side of his.
Communication
Telepathy
Due to Leopold's obvious lack of vocal cords and a tongue, he cannot communicate normally. Instead, he mainly uses telepathy. People have described his voice as deep, husky, and with a slight accent. He can reach quite long distances — about 300 meters — and can commune with several dozen people at once, though this becomes lesser and lesser the further away one is.
While he is certainly capable of it, Leopold has sworn to never dig deep into the thoughts of other people, unless it is absolutely necessary and if they consent to it. He much rather prefers to look upon one's thoughts like one can look upon the covers of books from the other side of a window.
Beyond this, Leopold can also send and receive mental images, though exactly how he can perceive his surroundings without any eyes or ears is a mystery.
Smells
The other way that Leopold can communicate is with floral scents and he can get quite creative with them. Usually, it is something he uses to bring further meaning to his thoughts, though he can also use it subconsciously to give away his mood or opinion of someone or something.
The scents he can produce is vanilla, jasmine, honey, pepper, chili and lilacs,
Glows
A more subtle way Leopold can commune is by making his body — specifically his petals and leaves — glow with various colors. His standard glow is a crisp white one that can be difficult to see if one does not look close enough. It is mainly a subconscious way of communicating and not something he has good control over. The other colors he can glow in is red, purple, green, blue and black.
Capabilities
Longevity & Ageless Immortality
While it is quite difficult to tell, it appears that Leopold has something akin to longevity and ageless immortality. Despite having been around for several decades, Leopold has never shown signs of malnourishment, decoloration or decay. Excluding the damage which he experienced when he Arrived. he has been in a prime perfect state of what a master florist expects of a flower that has been taken well care of.
Musical Aura
Similar to other Well-Arrived Individuals — such as The Organ King and Tanisha Hickman — Leopold has a musical aura as well. However, it is incredibly faint and usually drown in surrounding noises. If it is quiet however, and one is attentive enough, one will be able to make out the violin sounds that surrounds Leopold. It is mainly controlled by his subconscious, and he has little direct control over it. despite several daily attempts over the last forty years.
Ice Shard manifestation
Something that Leopold has only showcase a handful of times, is the capability to manifest ice shard in the air around him that he can shoot off against opponents with such force they can penetrate steel armor. He can only keep it up for about five minutes before needing to take a break for two days.

What...? Who is this? Why do I feel like it is a secret to all? Like a hidden character in a novel that reveals themselves suddenly to be an arch-mage/knight/magic being? Aside from this, it seems like a fun character and concept. I like the quirkiness that exists with him and how he has not explained anything about himself. Then again, the outside observer might not have asked that or added it to his book about these individuals.
