Riqui Soto
Riqui Soto is a curandero, a healer of the land, spirits, and people. He’s part of an unbroken line of curanderos that goes back in time to the town founder, Tari. He enjoys the tradition and responsibility that comes with his position, and has trained generations of curanderos, herbalists, and medics, both in town and from throughout the region.
Although nearing 90 years of age, Riqui’s still spry and conscientious. A few years ago, he started a correspondence with some of the Bluehall scholars from Xarlaca. The traders deliver messages every few months, bringing him explanations of advances in the field and the latest in Academy gossip.
