TD-31: Eggs In Tophats

They arrived in the town of Forberveld late at night. They met guards placed on the outside warning them about the recent vampire attack and how aid is requested by the baron Esten Tethrelencte. He offered them a reward for collecting mushrooms from a mine that was taken over by a gryphon with an additional reward if the gryphon was taken care of. The party made their way through the night intercepting a vampire who tried to ambush them but failed and took the opportunity to flee while she could still live. Arriving in the mine they walked down eventually finding the mushrooms, but carelessly they made a noise awakening the gryphon. Through combat by skill and luck, it was brought down and had its parts extracted with the head as evidence. They also found 3 large eggs presuming them to be gryphon eggs took them with after taking a rest. They then left to the town where they handed in the mushrooms and gryphon head for their reward.
