LR-6: Tripping Books
General Summary
Looking to cut out the need for raiding travelling caravans they sought a way to harness tools and weapons by forging them themselves. To their delight, they had captured a blacksmith, Kevin Smithton, although he refused to assist. Looking to motivate him, they debated whether to retrieve his wife from the town, or whether to try and replace her with someone else.
Deciding the town was too hard of a feat to pull off, so the group decided to collect some more prisoners from the nearby village.
Using some of their explosives they tricked a small crowd of people to wander out of the village and had a handful of goblins led by Jasper retrieve people by force.
A few died during the transit, but many alive specimens were obtained.
During the adventure back they started to hear a wraith, far out from the town wandering the wilderness. This frightened one of the captives who ran into the woods, being cautious the group didn’t go after him leaving him to his demise.
They eventually got back to the camp, and upon realizing the concern of the wraiths wandering out of settlements they sought to create a house on the cliff face in case of emergencies.
They then were requested by the chief Breebbict to deliver a letter to his crush, a shaman who lives in a mushroom to the northwest. He also ordered them to assist her in a job, so he would be given a golden egg in exchange.
Travelling there the following day they met up with the shaman, who turned out to be blind.
Making the group drink a strange soup they magically entered a book, like a portal, with them waking up in a small garden.
