Tradesmeet
Tradesmeet, so called by the Dwarves, is a small town on the south of the Isles, between the Goltia region and the Snowcapped mountains that seperate it from the Elflands. Here, in this small natural bay, a town was built by Humans and Dwarves as a place to trade. Foods, leathers, wood, rope and other such supplies for the Dwarves, ore, metal and the works of the many smiths of Vridions Forge for the other nations. Despite how long it has existed, and its nature as a key part of the trade in the South, it has never grown much beyond a town. The harsh region lacks luxuries, with the region of Goltia largely uninhabited above ground due to frequent eruptions, and the mountains to the west suffering from frequent blizzards that blow down onto the bay. Merchants travelt here frequently, but leave as soon as possible once their work is compelte, to get back to more comfortable climates. As such, the town does not have that many residents, and what ones do live there operate mostly as middlemen, Innkeeps and merchants themselves.
Dwarves frequently visit to peruse the markets and to order grand volumes of the supplies they need to construct and extend their mines. To to their prefences, many of the Inns may appear to only be two or three stories, but are in fact many more, with floors extending below the ground into the rock. Few dwarves reside in the town, and mostly keep to themselves, not out of xenophobia, but simply because they aren't in the mood for foppish merchants trying to butter them up time and again to get better deals on their ores and goods. Nevertheless, the Mayor of the town is a Dwarf known as Kilda Goldbarrow.
