Malavor, Archeon of the Betrayed is an immensely powerful Archeon of an unknown origin. Known only through the madness that has taken the Chaos Walkers, formerly at large the Xenoplanar Hunters, he is believed to be some form of ancient demon lord. This was disproven from the initial assumption as corrected by the Mistress of Whispers, Malavor is instead an offshoot of fiend that is entirely unique, an Archeon. A being formed from the intense emotions of a mortal's final breaths, cascaded into the Abyss and if strong enough granted form as a powerful entity. Archeon's are more rare than yugeloths, devils, and demons, but are typically very powerful magical entities, harnessing the emotion that formed them into immense magical and supernatural capabilities. The strongest of them can grant cleric and warlock like boons and magical abilities, something that is not entirely confirmed if Malavor can or cannot do. The only known hard mention of him is in a text acquired by Xo, the Archaeologist which claimed he was a demon lord, incorrectly. Where exactly he resides is unknown, what his motivation is is further not known as for some reason he has crafted a cult around him on the Material Plane which seeks to cause mass chaos and havoc on a large scale, headed by seemingly, Balan. What is known is he is considered a figure of religious idolatry and worship by those who follow him, a new god come to free them from their mortal struggles and save them.
