Coronation of king Fargrim Groundbreaker the first

After defeating all the other chiefs, alone remained Fargrim Groundbreaker. He had demonstrated superior strength to his opponents and proven himself the ultimate warrior. He was then made king of all dwarves.

The wars fought amongst the dwarves lasted for millennia. Generations of dwarves had never known a day of peace, and the longer and harder they were fought, the faster they spread as they drained every resource the mines had to offer.   One day, Fargrim, chief of the clan Groundbreaker, decided it was enough. One by one, he challenged, battled and killed all the other chiefs. When only he remained, he stripped from their corpses the most precious material they were wearing, melted them together into a crown, and proclaimed himself king of all dwarves.   His achievement became legend, but his legacy remains. In return of their allegiance, he allowed the clans to maintain their identities and provided them shelter inside the same mine. His coronation marks the first day of the calendar used by the dwarves to this very day. He is also the king who made the first contact with the kanns, when the dwarves were driven far enough to the north.
