Creation of the dwarven clans

Even though the dwarves have never been the most social of creatures, they knew they had to work together to survive the desolated land of Valeknaar.

As far back as the dwarven history goes, they have always been trying to survive in Valeknaar. However, they were not always as well organized as they are today.   Before the first dwarven clans came to be, every dwarf was confronted by himself to the terrifying monsters roaming Valeknaar. They did their best to hide and fight, but it was not enough. When the dwarves finally realized they should cooperate instead of compete with each other, everything changed for them.   They slowly gathered be proximity, creating the first of what they would later call clans. The clans allowed them to create mines and weapons, to shelter and defend themselves, and to eventually conquer the land...or so they thought.
