Basilisk

We are all starving...that beast has eaten most of our sheeps, and poisonned the rest. Poor little Evalina looked directly into its eyes yesterday, and suddenly stopped. Her body was frozen in place. The beast killed her just by looking at her. What can we do against such a monster? Even the shadow of birds is terrifying us now...we have no choice. Tonight, we hunt. It is our only hope of survival.

Basic Information

Anatomy

Like wyverns, basilisks are a type of draconoid with only two back legs, and two wings on the front. Their tail is however much shorter, and their wings are not similar to bats, but closer to birds, as they have feathers.   Their heads look like rooster heads for males, chickens for females, and their gaze paralyzes their preys. They can breathe poison through their beak, as well as inject it through their claws.
