The Phosphor Tree II

The discovery of phosphor oil by a goblin alchemist and half-elf druid was a critical moment in Meraset's history. From the seeds of the tree they could distill a softly glowing oil with similar magical properties as the tree itself. After testing a variety of applications, they discovered the most practical for the time:

• Mixing with herbs, water or incense and boiling to release it as vapor would safeguard an area for a time.
• Soaking a bandanna and tying it around the mouth and nose could be used in a pinch. This was later developed into a face mask for traveling outside the town.
