An earthquake hits the eastern half of the country pretty hard. Meras City sends out emergency teams to check on the two smaller towns. Brackendale is damaged but survived. Sadly Winden, the town to the north, is lost. It's practically a ghost town upon arrival.
For some time after the quake, rumors of strange monster sightings abound.
