Statue of Daqan

The Statue of Daqan in Archaut is another Monument of Mennara. While smaller copies of it appear all over the baronies, the original in Archaut is truly massive, helping Archaut live up to its nickname, “Monument City”. This location is adapted from its appearance in the RUNEWARS game based in Mennara.   The Statue is just outside of the city proper, in Archaut, the functional capital of Terrinoth. It is truly massive and can easily be seen when approaching the city, or really from any point outside the city proper. Once inside Archaut, the walls and massive architecture often block sight of the statue, but it can still be seen often when in between buildings, even when in the city. This landmark is easily identified and seeing it leaves no doubt which city you are in. In non-Terrinoth campaigns, such a statue could easily be of a different king important to the history of the campaign.
