Mission letter

Brief:

Target has been requested by the Matron Council of Veldrin Faertala. Details classified, but mission is only considered successful if target's body is retrieved. Tracking has been made hard by:

• Target's fondness to move in heavily populated areas that are guarded by lower races whom know to expect us
• Amount of heretics in the area
• The softness of lower races that are instictually protecting strangers

To our benefit, praise be Lloth, target seems to be an imbecille and have no basic understanding how to hide in a growd. He keeps making show of himself by moving around with a group of undead, and he has not taken in any heretic customs. As he acts very differently than everyone around him, the people are constantly noticing him and talking about him without need for interrigations. Thus getting some understading of his movements and location child's play. Thanks to his total lack of adaptation skills, he has so far seemed to be any heretic safety nets that could have sheltered him from us.

Recently, however, target has been harder to find, info has been hazier and even contradictory. We sent previously assassin to the city during the local carnival. Idiot was already on our fingertips, as he moved seperate from the masses giving our assassins the perfect chance to get a clear shot, like target asked to be murdered. He did, however move, and before getting better position, a dark devil spawn intercepted them, and forced them to retreat.

We consider the possibility that that the target has managed to get himself an ally who is trying to undermine our efforts. We also makes us consider that the target might be actually a half blood, because man that chubby with this little survival, manipulation and adaptation skills cannot be full-blooded drow. He has since disappeared and we are looking for clues.

Get any information you can from the target, and bring him to us, if possible. Failure is not an option.
