Season 2 Finale #4 - The Adamantine Collapse

The world itself begins to fracture. Adamantine cables at ground level shatter into violent clouds of dust and filament, causing the icy castle walls to moan and break apart. Draphi Oturo counters the collapse with a rapid song, temporarily stabilizing the structure. The party remains airborne, avoiding the chaos below.

• Act I – Structural Collapse
  • Scene: Vibrating adamantine cables rupture across the battlefield.
    • Action: Massive clouds of dust and filament rise as the ground disintegrates; the ice castle begins to fail.
  • Scene: Draphi Oturo intervenes with song.
    • Action: Her fast-paced melody steadies the structure, halting further collapse for the moment.
 
• Act II – The Ethereal Threads
  • Scene: The frayed filaments appear within The Ethereal Plane.
    • Action: Visible through true seeing, the silver strands pulse chaotically between planes.
  • Scene: Beyond the inner circle, vibrations intensify.
    • Action: The strands roar, obscuring anything beyond the edge. Above, the gray misty sky and full moon still light the field out to the Great Pillars. The giant living wall columns are gone; their mass forms the army advancing on the center.
 
• Act III – The Missing
  • Scene: Several party members remain unaccounted for.
    • Action: NissaFazzo Draphi and Aroh are present; Rhivius, Zed, Monroe, and ShadowG haven’t been seen yet.
  • Scene: Ground effects.
    • Action: The ground pulses once per round; adamantine filaments deal 2d6 bludgeoning damage to any creature attempting to stand on them.
