An ever present presence at the Castle of Winterfell and oft at the side of the Queen herself, it is said in hushed tones that Vorian leads the North in the day to day. None would state the Queen does not guide her Kingdom in the vast but the small affairs are left to the Maester's hand, for which his effectiveness is exemplary. Indeed during the early days of her reign, the Queen sought the advice of the young man of the chain. A man who gave soft and balanced advice for which Lyanna Stark was grateful for in the face of such trying times. Due to this fact, Vorian has gained more power and influence than most Maesters and his loyalty is never questioned. Even outsiders such as the Prince Alexander are grateful for his council and have formed an adequate friendship. With the two often playing games such as Cyvasse. Content and happy at Winterfell, Vorian never moans nor does he speak out against the Northerners. Many say he is as Northern as the mountains or trees or snow now.
