The Children of Red Blood
Even in the chaos of the post Doom rebuilding process of Volantene society, there are many staunch traditionalists within the Senate that make up the 2nd largest "Turtle" faction, and other high families that aren't connected to the Valyr, that stand firmly resistant to them and their ever expanding and oppressive influence in the Senate and Military. Over time, many of these figures have been approached by a group calling themselves "The Children of Red Blood", who intends to maintain the old ways and work to suppress and even oust the Valyr from power.
Over the recent years they have seen a mix between successes and failures, with seemingly much of the success coming from their plain and seemingly unassuming leader, simply named Harrolo. The continued success from the man who rallied them all together has only increased the members' trust and belief in Harrolo to see their cause to the finish. Some even believe that without Harrolo's efforts, the Valyrs could have turned the Senate into an empty shell by now.
