Personality

Ser Terl is a serious man, devoted to the Vale, the Seven and everything related of what means to be a Knight of the Vale. His honor, is impolite and he is definitely a competent man with the sword.

History

During the Conquest of the Vale, Ser Terl was commanded to protect the Queen and the Royal family, as he had been commanded before. During the exile of the Royal Family he was the only guard present, and watched for them. When Sophie Corbray reach a deal with House Rogare to sent her kid as Pupil at the Free City of Lys; she asked Ser Terl to go with the kid; to protect him in that dangerous island. He followed the Queen's instructions and left his own name behind to protect the Royal Heir. He let his beard grow and he put his knight armour on a chest; as now he shouldn't seem a knight. His stance in Lys hasn't been a pleasure for him, as he sees enemies at every corner; and the Royal boy is learning manners of the Essosi. In particular there are 2 men he dislike to have such influence on the Kid: The first is Lotho Rogare, the Tutor of the heir. They spent a lot of time together, and most of the time Ser Terl cannot be with him, as he is not welcomed at the Strangler's Tower. However, when the royal heir felt for a strange sickness Lotho Rogare saved the kid's life; and earned the respect of the unarmored knight. The second one who holds to much influence on the kid is the Red Priest Merlan; who is trying that the kid followed the false Gof of Light; if that happens his next king would not be a Knight, and that would be a problem.
