Fellhammer

Fellhammer, the seat of King Denfor, power of the dominion and capital industrial heartland of his mighty kingdom. She plays host to 250,000 souls.   Perhaps Fellhammer's most distinguishing feature, one might argue, is the colossal fifty kilometer moat surrounding the main city. Minor settlements dot the surrounding landscape, dwarfed, no pun intended, by the behemoth of Fellhammer, protected by her mighty walls and filled moat. Nobody, bar the Dwarves who created it, knows how they managed to fill the thing with such little access to fresh water.   Professions encountered in Fellhammer vary from moat-keeper to guardsman, though a few noteworthy professions exist: blacksmithing, alchemy, enchanting, forgecrafting, artificing, machining, desert walking and various other professions keep her citizens well occupied. Unemployment is something of a myth.   The inside of the city is a different story, arranged in hexagonal districts, representing the six pillars of Helvenic society: order, industry, fortitude, craft, blood and steel. The order of the city is very much kept by the Helvenic Guard, with crime supposedly at a non-existent level within its walls or surrounding villages. The city, whilst receptive of outsiders, does not treat them as one of their own.
